It just occurred to me that tomorrow is 31st January 2007, then January 2007 will disappear forever. I will never be able to relive it again. Just like that. Gone. Dunzo.

The whole agency moved to a new home, finally. After about 10 years in that ex-winery, creatives slaving away in the basement. It was a cool historic but filthy place. The exposed beams, unfinished wooden ceilings and vacummed-less carpet, I believe, has brought my health to a new high risk. I have been sick record-time the past year. And I want no more of that please!
The new place sits right next to the piers. I have an open window view of the bay ¬— yachts, seagulls, sunshine, water and tourists aplenty! Totally awesome. I miss the privacy, as now it is all out in the open, but nothing can beat that scenery. I don’t feel caged anymore. Will pose photos when I get my (new) camera back from the repairs… … soon please???
Trying to catch up with the new year now, every freelance client wants their stuff like Yesterday. What can I do? Pull it outta my ass? It’s not that big anyways. So they just have to waaaaait!

Janice’s wedding is in 2 weeks. I heard she is going to have more Hen parties. If I am getting married, I must have more parties than her!!! All with cute strippers!!! And fireworks!!! And cupcakes!!! And all my girlfriends have to be there!!!
~~~
Speaking of cupcakes, it is gonna be a really long walk for lunch to get those cupcakes from Miette’s at the ferry building. Alas, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
~~~
So how’s everyone doing so far for 2007?
Something to say:
1. Hope M and family is doing better after the loss of Jimmy ( I feel ya… .. sigh)
2. Agency hamster — Hambone passed away briefly after X’mas 2006. RIP. He is buried next to Froggy No. 2
3. S got 2 new agency hamsters — Ham & Bacon (keeping the pork theme), who are now proud parents of 5 spankin’ new pinkish babies. From now on I am going to say “humping like hamsters” instead of “doing it like rabbits”. Trust me, only 2 weeks have passed and we have bacon bits already.
4. I am going to start jogging during lunch as we now have a shower room.
5. Should I take up horse-back riding?

Totally stole these posters from “Lalaland”, who stole it from the official movie website :p
“Happy Birthday” stars my fav artiste — Rene Liu (singer/actress/author). I like how clean this posters are. I wish I can work on stuff like that. The movie should be showing now in most parts of Asia. But I am not in Asia. So I have to go to the DVD shop in Chinatown soon~
I have decided.
I will buy it and then watch it on MY birthday. Alone.
p.s. this blog is still a little sad. But this is its nature ;)

Alone.
I have been back for 14 days. Not all days are busy, but all that mad holiday rush was a little overwhelming. I needed a vacation from my vacation. So these days, I usually just come home from work; walk around the apartment (though there is not much to venture), pick up pieces of stuff here and there, throw out pieces of stuff here and there… …
Blogging has been reduced to a minimum although there’s a huge bunch of photos to share. Alas! I dropped my new camera right on the second day in Japan and it became dysfunctional :(
So here are some photos to recap the vacation:

Happy happy happy
This couple is so happy, ya?
Many happie returns to Nini & Nica...
They finally got married late Dec in Taipei last year and I am kicking myself for not being there. The engagement party, after-party, wedding dinner looked really really happy and happy! (Lance, I looked through ALL the photos ok! Even that 400 shots... it took about 20 mins of clicking...)
Makes ME want to get married soon... any takers?

This isn't such a sad blog, is it?

I AM SOOOOO PISSED OFF...
BY PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WHO CANNOT FUNCTION AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE SO MANY EXCUSES AND PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO MANAGE THEIR TIME.
In the end I think I am talking about the ONE person I am angry at. WHATEVER. YOU! OFF MY PLANET!
+PLUS+
POWER GOT CUT OFF AGAIN DUE TO SMOKING CIRCUIT BOX! And I live right above it, luckily there wasn't a fire else I'll be typing this on a hospital bed :(
I was cold and alone last night! NOT VERY NICE! NO!
I'm from a tropical island... ...
(feel like crying now as I look into the sunset... ...)

We’re dying everyday…
That’s what I feel now. I have been coughing for more than 1 week. Since I left Singapore, I have been coughing throughout my trip to Tokyo. It was fucking annoying to me and everyone around me. I went to the 100 Yen shop and bought a hankie and coughed all my germs in it, and I brought it all the way back without washing it! Hahahahaha!
The weather in SF is icy cold, not helping on my cough neither.
The agency is moving at the end of the month. Weird timing, as 2 friends’ office just moved to the neighborhood and I’m gonna move away. Fate.
Suffering from serious jetlag too. I sleep at like 9 PM and wake up at 3 AM, hungry. I realize it is better to wake up and eat and unpack and go back to sleep at 5/6AM. First day of work was hell. One colleague caught me falling asleep on my desk. Tsk Tsk.

SINGAPORE
I had such a blast! Thanks everyone who spent so much time with me and made it one of the best (though so short) trip home. I wanted to party and I certainly did. Four nights of partying out of 10 days home. Not bad huh? That’s why I am coughing. Pay back time.
Ate lotsa food. Carried Puppy a lot. Kissed her. Slept. Shopped. Didn’t think about work AT ALL. Just thought about playing all the time. Hehehehehehe that was heaven.
TOKYO
Was very enjoyable especially getting to meet my nephews for the first time!!! So so so lovable. I am not ready to have kids, but it was sure fun playing with other ppl’s!
Japan was having their annual sale and my, oh my. 50% off almost in all stores and some are even cheaper than in Singapore! But I did control myself coz I already spent a fortune in SG. Coz I bought the pig an iPod Nano and some swanky Adidas.
I guess I just didn’t have too much time to find the perfect Ramen. I didn’t. but I had some good food. I am easily satisfied now. Coz maybe I stop trying to expect so much, stop being so greedy and just enjoy what I have.
~~~
I need to sleep for years.
Short update this is. No mood to write. Can’t find the heart anywhere.
but i have a good vibe for this year :)
