My First American Baby Shower

One of my favorite Creative Directors (CD) is preggers. I have been calling her Mommy since Day One so that she can get used to it. (just for fun ok, my dear real mom? Don't get jealous!)

She is due maybe in a month's time and she has been a real trooper coming to work regardless of her baggage.

The thing is, Americans all love to have baby showers before the baby is born. Most of them are all girly and the attendees are usually for women only. But this is a cool lady so we had a good time - there was even a keg!

They own a house in the Marins (read=snotty rich yuppie people's area), but they are not snotty. So enjoy these pics of her place. She has a huge garden and all. Which is nice.

Oh by the way, all her other guests re like married couples and/or with kids. And there was a lot of hot dads. Young hot dads. Not fair.
